Cut out the Photos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/smartphoto-express-production-wp-blogs-com\/11\/2020\/10\/IMG_5499-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8357\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To create this Christmas decoration, start by cutting out each individual picture from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartphoto.ie\/prints-enlargements\/photo-booth-print\">photo strips<\/a>. Use wooden blocks 45 \u00d7 45 \u00d7 45 mm in size, which is the perfect size for the photo strip pictures. However, you may need to cut a little from the image itself. It\u2019s best to cut a little at a time for best results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Glue the photos onto the wooden blocks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/smartphoto-express-production-wp-blogs-com\/18\/2020\/10\/GLUE.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas tree decorations\" class=\"wp-image-1325\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now glue your pictures to the wooden block. Use a good multi-purpose glue. Remember to allow it to dry thoroughly before proceeding to the next step. Your Christmas decorations are starting to take shape!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Apply a coat of acrylic sealer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/smartphoto-express-production-wp-blogs-com\/18\/2020\/10\/Ornament_Liggande_Frame13.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas tree decorations\" class=\"wp-image-1329\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now it&#8217;s time to apply a coat of acrylic sealer (like Mod Podge). This is so that your photo will be better attached to the wooden block and gives it a protective layer for a more durable Christmas decoration. Paint with a soft brush and let it dry for about two hours. It is white when you put it on but becomes transparent when it dries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/smartphoto-express-production-wp-blogs-com\/18\/2020\/10\/Ornament_Liggande_Frame14.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas tree decorations\" class=\"wp-image-1330 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Screw in the screw eyes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now attach the screw eyes so that your wooden block can be hung on the tree with the string. Screw eyes can usually be screwed in by hand, but it makes it easier if you put a screwdriver through the loop to get a better grip.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Tie the string through the loop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/smartphoto-express-production-wp-blogs-com\/18\/2020\/10\/Ornament_Liggande_Frame15.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas tree decorations\" class=\"wp-image-1331\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, tie the string to the screw loop. We used a leather band for a rustic feel, but you can use any type of string as long as it can be tied without the knot slipping out.
